I've been seeing this happen more and more lately....it aggravates the living daylights out of me to no avail. This will be short and sweet, I have no intention of mucking up your pondering time with my nonsensical ramblings but I feel this must be asked.
Time and time again, I'm out in public, browsing the internet or seeing little notes passed between couples. Almost all of these handwritten vessels have smiley faces which is great! I love smiling and seeing smiles drawn all over things. It's wonderful and fills me with warmth and happy thoughts.
What I do not love is emoticon smileys. I understand you want to send a smile through a social network/text/email or what have you but why in the world when YOU ARE WRITING, does your smile you drew have to be SIDEWAYS?
Did I get my point across? Seriously. :) < - This is acceptable when you're writing blogs/texts ect. You know, things of the electronic nature. It is not acceptable when you have a blank canvas and are using your very own pen/pencil/marker/crayon unless you legitimately cannot figure out how to draw right side up. In which case, you should take your cue from Billy Madison and enroll yourself back into Kindergarten.
That is all.
Actually it isn't. Three words...Duck face, why?
Sound off.
Xoxo

Duck Face? I had no idea. Ive been kind of out of the whole emoticon fad, i used them back in middle school and high school before they even had a name. But im sick of acronyms myself. *sick face* Part of the reason america is the fattest nation is party because we are too lazy to write out words. shit half the world still thinks LOL means lots of love. And when people lol they arn't really laughing out loud. Most the time they chuckle to themselves in there head. even then its a courtesy laugh to not make the other person feel bad. I could go on about this all day shoot ive only gone over LOL. There are so many more, but i dont want to change subject on your first post so soon. Good post Mrs. RILEY cant wait to read more *smiley face.
